Bread & Light for Children Foundation is a federally incorporated Canadian not-for-profit organization currently in its organizational and program-development stage. We are preparing an application for registration as a charity with the Canada Revenue Agency.Official charitable donation receipts are not currently being issued.Our planned work includes relief of poverty through necessities of life and simple amenities; educational programs, tutoring, educational materials, school supplies, scholarships and bursaries; health education, health-related supplies and access to health services; and voluntary religious instruction, teaching, worship and missionary activities.We are committed to serving children, youth and families experiencing poverty, hardship and vulnerability with compassion, dignity and transparency. Humanitarian assistance is provided based on need and is never conditional on participation in religious activities.
